Surprise! It’s me, Kate, the genuine human behind these words each week, a.k.a. Lately’s CEO. And even though we’re separated by many miles across hundreds of cities and even several countries, we’re also connected – both as marketers and as humans. A bit touchy-feely… but I like knowing there’s actual people behind the technology I use and thought you might, too. So hi. Nice to meet you. (Insert eye contact, a firm handshake and a friendly wink.) Here’s what’s new at Lately this week:
1. Friends for Your Benefit
Bryan Kramer and Courtney Smith are world-renowned marketers, keynote speakers (TED talks), best-selling authors and our new best friends, thanks to a partnership with their recently launched H2H Human Marketing Club. Hold onto your Cro-Magnonism for a mind-blowingly, well, human community of fellow marketers that readily trade thoughtful dialogue, feedback and advice – kind of like therapy for marketers. More on H2H soon.
2. Filter Content by Date
Now, additionally sort the social posts in your Content Library by date – be it the last two weeks, 30 days, three months, six months or whatever custom date range your Homo sapiens heart desires.
3. Hide or Show Calendar Details
Roll up your Marketing Calendar of events in the daily view for a high-level looksee or expand them to get a better idea of how social posts appear, ehem, in the flesh – i.e., with complete text and any attached images.
No, Cro-Magnonism is not a real word. But yes, they call me Kately.
