Be Your Own MVP.

April 26, 2017 by Jason Debacco

You tell us what you want. We make it so. No hand-eye coordination, squat-thrusts or sweaty pinnies required. Here’s what’s new at Lately this week:

1. Get Approval Notices In Your Inbox

Now get approval, disapproval and comment notices via email, so you can collaborate more easily with bosses or clients – and make changes on the fly.

2. Automatically File and Organize Social Post Images

Find all of the images and photos you’ve attached to social posts now, automatically saved and organized in the “Files” section of your dashboard – easy to reuse and handy to reference for tracking and reporting.

3. Get More of What’s New Anytime

Access the complete list of all things new at Lately, in case you missed any, via our blog.

Win-win-win.

It’s Good To Be King.

April 19, 2017 by Jason Debacco

Our castle is your castle. Except you wear the crown… And call the shots. Long live You! Here’s what’s new at Lately this week:

1. Connect Your Bitly Account

Connect your Bitly account to integrate your Bitly shortlinks and analytics with all of your content. You can also import previously created shortlinks or shortlinks created outside of Lately, so that they’re all housed in one place, easier to track and easier to reuse.

2. Transfer Dashboard Ownership

Instantly transfer the ownership of your dashboard to another Lately user in one click. That way, if you suddenly move to Camelot, it’s easy for another team member to take over – or hand the scepter off to a client at the end of a contract.

3. See Instagram Posts in Your Marketing Calendar

Now also automatically see your Instagram posts and photos in the “Daily” view of your marketing calendar – alongside your other social content, tasks, goals, advertising, workshops or events.

We hear ye, we hear ye!

Hoot, Holler and Bellyache (If You Must). It’s Your Rodeo.

April 12, 2017 by Jason Debacco

Our spreadsheet-hating elves are ready to wrangle the wildest wishes in Tarnation – they just need to be, ehem, spurred. Here’s what’s new at Lately this week:

1. Identify Top Twitter Promoters

Instantly identify the social media engagement and reach of any Twitter account – and see whether or not they follow you. Plus, know who’s most likely to promote your messages through our scoring system, which automatically ranks Twitter accounts by how large their following is and how often they share your content.

2. Preview Social Posts Before Publishing

Have a gander at how your Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn posts will look before you actually publish them, so you can make sure your photos render correctly and get a better feel for how your customers view you.

3. Access Most Recent Dashboards Faster

Create separate dashboards for different businesses, brands or clients and access them all from a single login. Plus, pick up where you left off even faster, with a dashboard list that’s now sorted by whichever one you most recently used.

Hold onto your britches.

We Like it When You Tell Us What to Do.

April 5, 2017 by Jason Debacco

Don’t be shy. Boss us around all you like. Because when you tell us what you want, it’s so boss. Here’s what’s new at Lately this week:

1. Drag and Drop Calendar Entries

Drag and drop future calendar entries to easily reschedule content across any of your connected channels – or to change the dates of any other entry, across any channel.

2. Add Multiple Accounts from the Same Social Channel

Add and connect multiple Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest or Google+ accounts, so you can manage unlimited profiles for unlimited people or companies, from one place.

3. Export Social Posts

Easily export draft versions of your social posts to a CSV file for that, ehem, boss that refuses to leave spreadsheets in the dust. It’s okay, we won’t judge.

Stay bossy, Pony Boy.

It’s Not the Size of the Wand, It’s How You Wave It.

March 29, 2017 by Jason Debacco

2. View All of Your Campaign Materials In One Place

See all of the content, tasks, key messaging, calendar entries and key contacts associated with any campaign in a single view, so it’s easy to show your boss or client the whole picture – and to rinse and repeat.

3. Transfer Ownership and Set Approve-Only View

Transfer full dashboard ownership controls to any team member and set approve-only viewing for your clients or bosses, so they’re not mired down by the nitty gritty.

Swish and flick.

Okay. It’s a little bit magic. But it only happens when you tell us what you want. Here’s what’s new at Lately this week:

1. Automatically Generate Social Posts

2. Customize Your Marketing Calendar View

Adjust the view of your marketing calendar to “Day,” “Week” or “Month” for whole-picture visibility that works best for you, in one click.

3. Sort Your Content Library by New Drafts

Quickly access newly drafted content awaiting approval, now automatically positioned at the top of each section in your Content Library.
